It is antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, bactericidal, carminative, chloretic, digestive, anti-fungal, hypotensive, sedative (nervous), stimulant digestive & lymphatic), stomachic, tonic.
Some uses of Sweet Orange Oil include:
Skin: Dull & oily complexions, mouth ulcers.
Circulation, Muscles and Joints: Palpitations, water retention.
Respiratory: Bronchitis, chills.
Digestive System: Constipation, dyspepsia, spasms.
Immune System: Colds, fever, flu, infectious illnesses such as chickenpox.
Nervous System: Nervous tension & stress related conditions.
Sweet Orange Oil is safe for children aged 3 months +. It is safe to use during pregnancy (Avoid in first trimester, or consult your medical practitioner), and safe to use during breastfeeding.

1 - 2 years: No more than 1%
2 - 6 years: 2% - up to 5% ok for occasional use.
