By placing any orders, or visiting Back to the Wild, whether it be through the website, Facebook page, TradeMe, in person, or other, you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions. Back to the Wild reserves the right to change any of the below Terms & Conditions, pricing, or any other details at any time.
You are automatically agreeing to these Terms & Conditions by visiting our website, contacting us, or making a purchase through any of our avaliable means.
Pricing
All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars, and include GST, as Back to the Wild is GST registered, and GST is charged at 15% on all orders within NZ. For international orders, GST will be removed upon entering your shipping address.
Shipping
All products are sent via our choice of courier or NZ Post at a flat rate. Standard orders will normally be shipped within two business days of payment clearning. Custom orders vary. Shipping times vary based on location. Please contact us to enquire about overseas shipping.
While 90%+ of the time orders are shipped within 2 business days, by ordering you agree to the fact that sometimes orders may be delayed by unforseen circumstances including, but not limited to, sickness, items being out of stock, natural disaster, courier delays, or ingredient re-stock. Unforseen circumstances may delay your order by one week or more. We will endeavour to notify you where possible for delays longer than 4 business days.
Where online orders are not posted out for 3 business days or more due to a planned closure, such as the Christmas break, this will be advertised on the top of every single website page. By ordering you are agreeing that you have read the banner across the top of every web page, and understand that your order will not be shipped out till the end of the closure period, and neither will you be notified that your order has been delayed due to the notification on every page of the website. On re-opening it may take 2-3 business days to catch up with orders from during the closure period.
Skincare Returns
Due to health & safety, we cannot accept any returns on balms and skincare for reasons other than damage, or errors.
If you believe you have been sent the wrong item, please contact us, and we will remedy the issue as soon as possible.
If your item arrives damaged, please email us as soon as possible with photos, so that we can lodge a claim with the courier company.
Outdoor Therm Gear Returns
If you select the wrong size item, you can send us back the item, and we will send the correct size item, provided it is still in original unused condition, with tags on. You will need to send it back to us at your cost, and we will send you the new item at our cost, unless you purchased the item on a big sale. If purchased at below 80% of RRP, you will need to cover the cost of postage back to you of the replacement item too.
Change of mind returns are accepted provided the items are still in original unused condition with tags on. You will need to cover postage back to us, and we will refund less any postage costs incurred by us in sending you your parcel (which may be more than the postage amount charged).
If you are after a change of mind swap, we will cover shipping your replacement parcel only if you originally purchased at at least 80% of RRP. And any refunds for lesser priced swaps will be less the difference in postage between charged postage and actual postage price.

Any directions for use, whether it be on the website, in person, or by other means is strictly only to be used for general information, rather than as a guide to be followed. Although all our products are tested to strict standards, and we use all our products on our own family, we take no liability for any accidents & injuries that may arise out of use of our products. As with any new cosmetic products, we recommend you patch test on a small area of your skin before use.

Back to the Wild cannot be held liable for any injuries or illnesses that may arise from using our products. Including, but not limited to: burns, bug bites, allergic reactions & blisters.
Please use clean hand to scoop products out of our jars. Once opened, Back to the Wild cannot be held liable for products going off before their dated Best Before date.

Privacy
We will never use your information for any reason, other than to process & ship your order or to send out emails. Credit card orders are processed via paypal. We do not receive or retain any of your credit card information.
By supplying Back to the Wild with your email address, you are agreeing to receive email correspondence, and be subscribed to our emails, unless you have otherwise specified. Email subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.
